Do you want to get married for under $500 at your favorite indie bookstore?? We want you to! We are hosting our first official MATRIMONY MONDAY on May 29th (Memorial Day!). We have eight slots available for micro-weddings that will take place back-to-back at the store. For $450, you'll get a one-hour slot that includes the space rental, professional photographer Michelle Johnsen, and your ceremony performed our favorite wedding officiant, Mary Auker-Endres. You can also add on a locally-sourced bouquet from Longbourn Blooms for $50 and a to-go mini wedding cake from a local bakery for $100. 

These will be short and sweet services, and you're welcome to invite as many guests as you'd like, but we only have 22 folding chairs for them so anyone past that should bring their own chair or be okay with standing. We have a parking lot and plenty of street parking, but we ask guests arrive and leave promptly to ensure there's space for the next party! Ceremonies will take place outside with the couple getting married up on the porch in front of Pocket Books and their guests seated on the lawn. In case of rain, ceremonies will be moved inside and will take place in the main room of the shop in front of our fireplace. You will be able to have photos taken inside and outside of the store during your timeslot. 

These weddings will be a fun alternative to a courthouse ceremony, but everything is ready made for you if you'd like to avoid all of the planning and expense of a traditional big event!
